The Advanced Leadership Institute Welcomes Christine Bryant to its Distinguished Board of Directors

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, August 7, 2025 The Advanced Leadership Institute (TALI) is pleased to announce the addition of Christine Bryant to its Board of Directors. TALI is an executive education and leadership development organization committed to creating more inclusive and prosperous professional communities through a distinct model that educates, develops, connects, and positions Black leaders and their allies for advancement.

TALI’s Board is composed of corporate and community leaders who exemplify a strong commitment to advancing the organization’s mission and strategic vision. As a long-term supporter of the Institute, Ms. Bryant has demonstrated commitment to TALI and brings unique expertise to the Board of Directors.

They have been doing incredible work that positively impacts lives throughout the corporate community, and I have enjoyed being a part of that work as a mentor and as an executive sponsor. I look forward to this new role of serving on the Board,” says Ms. Bryant.

Christine is currently Global President of the Material Science business unit and President of Brenntag Specialties NA. In that role she is responsible for the strategy and performance of the global Material Science business, as well as the strategic initiatives for the Specialties business in North America. Brenntag is the world’s leading chemical distributor, with sales exceeding $18 billion.

Before joining Brenntag, Christine served as the global head of the Tailored Urethanes business unit at Covestro, with annual sales of over $1 billion. She was responsible for advancing the business segment’s strategy, driving operational excellence, and delivering profitable growth. Christine’s career with Covestro spanned more than 30 years, during which she held multiple executive positions with both regional and global responsibilities, including strategy, operations, sales, marketing, and technical roles.

Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and mathematics from Duquesne University. She also earned her master’s in chemical engineering with an emphasis on colloids, polymers, and surfaces from Carnegie Mellon University.

Ms. Bryant is deeply committed to the community, with longstanding leadership roles across business, academia, and nonprofit organizations. Her community engagement reflects her passion for giving back to organizations committed to strengthening inclusion, STEM education, sustainability, and innovation.
