The Advanced Leadership Institute (TALI), an organization committed to strengthening companies, institutions, and communities by cultivating leadership, is excited to announce the well-deserved promotion of Isabella Moreland to Director of Marketing & Alumni Engagement. Isabella has an extensive history with TALI, previously serving as the Marketing & Communications Manager for three years. Prior to that role, she served as TALI’s Marketing Intern from 2019-2020, where she helped maintain the organization’s social media presence and brand.
In her new position, which she assumed in April 2025, Isabella will oversee TALI’s marketing and alumni engagement efforts and ensure their alignment with the organization’s mission and vision. While she will continue to lead and implement TALI’s overarching marketing strategy, she will also support the enhancement and delivery of programming for the distinguished TALI® Alumni Network—a growing community comprised of over 280 talented leaders from Pittsburgh and beyond who have completed a TALI program.
“Isabella has been a part of the TALI Team for several years, and in every role, she has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and a commitment to helping TALI and our community thrive,” says Evan Frazier, President and CEO, The Advanced Leadership Institute. “It is for these reasons and others that I am confident that Isabella is the right person to serve as our Director of Marketing & Alumni Engagement.”
“I have had the privilege of witnessing TALI’s positive evolution, and in my new role I am excited to continue contributing to TALI’s growth and success,” says Isabella. “Our TALI Alumni are at the heart of everything we do, and it is an honor to have the opportunity to support these leaders in this capacity. By integrating marketing and alumni engagement responsibilities, I look forward to collaborating with the team to identify new opportunities for enhancing alumni programming and expanding our presence regionally and nationally.”
Prior to working at TALI, Isabella worked as a Marketing Strategist for Highmark Health. In this role, she worked collaboratively with a team of 7 to provide marketing and project management support to all departments under the Highmark Wholecare (formerly Gateway Health) line of business.
Isabella is passionate about providing solid marketing strategies that will help an organization tell its story and promote its brand, while simultaneously building a strong community. She has been recognized for her leadership and contributions when she received the inaugural PRSA Pittsburgh Black Excellence Award through the 2021 PRSA Pittsburgh Renaissance Awards (sponsored by Burson Cohn and Wolfe) and was included in the New Pittsburgh Courier’s Fab 40 Under 40 2023 Cohort. Additionally, Isabella received TALI’s Inspiring Innovators Award in 2025.
Isabella graduated from John Carroll University with a BSBA in marketing and a minor in political science. During her time as a student, she was a member of the school’s Women in Business club and the Chi Omega Fraternity Upsilon Mu Chapter where she served as Recruitment Chair from 2019-2020.
